DQSC Facilities for Cruisers

Water

It is perhaps worth mentioning that the Club's outside taps are pump driven. To switch on the pump, go into the Clubroom and look high up just to the left of the galley door. You will see a membrane push-button switch. This is a time switch so if using the hose for some period (an hour or so) you might need to push it again.

Please note that technically the water from our outside taps is not of potable quality. There is a tap on the outside of the Conservancy Education building opposite the steps to our changing rooms that is believed to provide potable water.

Electrical Power

Mains electricity is available in the Workshop, Black Shed and on the quay. It is not available on the club pontoon or on the Chichester Harbour Conservancy pontoon.

Car Parking

There is only one parking space allocated for DQSC use on the quay, and this is for disabled access (the Chichester Harbour Conservancy Education Centre and the Apuldram Fishing Club also have allocated parking).

Cars can be loaded and unloaded at the end of the quay but are not allowed to park. Limited parking is available in the DQSC Dinghy Park otherwise parking can be found in the lane.
