A great week at Race Week

Mark Gardener grabbed a very well deserved 7th (tied with 5th on 15 points) from 22 entries in the hotly contested Solo fleet with serious competition some of which were fresh from the Solo Nationals only the weekend before. Really very tight racing across all 5 days, conditions ranging from super light days up to 15-18 knots on the Tuesday. A great way to spend a week.

Mark Harpers week sadly came to an early close on the Tuesday with events out of his control. James Pound kept the mid to back end of the solo fleet company finishing 13th but came away knowing that every day is a school day and learnt a great deal, mostly positive! Massive shout to Liz and Carol who helped out in the race office and to those who kindly gave their time to support the the 2 safety boats DQ supplied inc Sarah and Pete, Adrian, Neil and several others, thank you! Roll on 2027, come on Juniors, lets be having you!
